Formerly “Thai Storage Battery Company Limited” was found in 1986 and became a public company limited in 1994.
It has become one member of Hitachi Chemical Group in September 2017 and changed the company name to “Hitachi Chemical Storage Battery (Thailand) Public Company Limited” by the time of 3rd January 2019.
On 1st October 2020, Thai Energy Storage Technology PLC. be formed through an amalgamation between Hitachi Chemical Storage Battery (Thailand) PLC. and Hitachi Chemical Gateway Battery (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

The Company’s batteries are suitable for all types of vehicles manufactured under European, Japanese and USA standard and different weather conditions whether in cold or hot climate. The Company’s products can be classified into the following five groups:

Thai Energy Storage Technology PLC. is in the business of manufacturing and distributing of Automotive, Traction, Golf Cart, Deep Cycle (EB) and Lighting batteries for both domestic market under "3K" brand and oversea under "3K", "Tiger", "KV", "TSB", "Tuflong", "MAX CYCLE" and "Lifttop" brands.
The company's market is consisting of Export replacement market, Domestic replacement market (REM) and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
